1. Agreement to these terms

By creating an account or using Libera, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Definitions

"Libera" means the learning platform operated by Lumina Nigeria Limited. "User" means anyone who accesses the platform, including students, instructors, and institutional users.

3. Service description

Libera provides educational programs, sessions, learning resources, and AI-assisted academic support. Features may evolve over time.

4. Accounts and access

You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding your credentials, and all activity under your account.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Libera, attempt unauthorized access, upload harmful content, violate rights, or use the service for unlawful activity.

6. Learning content and AI responses

Program materials remain subject to applicable intellectual property rights. AI responses are for learning support and should be reviewed critically; they are not legal, medical, or financial advice.

7. Intellectual property

Libera, its branding, and platform materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit platform assets except as expressly permitted.

8. Availability and changes

We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update, suspend, or remove features as needed.

9. Privacy

Use of Libera is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how personal information is handled.

10. Leaving the platform and account deletion

You may stop using Libera at any time and may request account deletion through contact@luminacorp.org. Deletion handling and retained records follow our Privacy Policy and applicable legal obligations.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, security concerns, legal requirements, or misuse of the platform.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, Libera and Lumina Nigeria Limited are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Parties will first attempt good-faith resolution of disputes through written notice and discussion before escalating to competent courts in Nigeria, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

14. Force majeure

We are not responsible for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control, including network failures, power outages, natural disasters, public emergencies, labor disruptions, or governmental actions.

15. Severability and waiver

If any part of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision or any other right.

16. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any platform-specific notices, form the entire agreement between you and Lumina Nigeria Limited regarding use of Libera.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Libera after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
